Food will be available for students in person at 11 sites across DPS: Lincoln, Cowell, North, STRIVE Prep-Sunnyside (Remington), DCIS Baker, Shoemaker, Manual, Bruce Randolph, Evie Dennis, Montbello and Place Bridge Academy. Food is available for anyone ages one-18 as well as DPS students beyond the age of 18. Breakfast will be available 8-9 a.m. Lunch will be available noon-1 p.m. There will be vegetarian options at each site.
Food will only be available in grab-and-go packaging to avoid congregating. Students are not allowed to eat on site. We are also working with philanthropic groups to explore options to expand food distribution during the weekends and for adults, and we will provide more information when it becomes available.
In addition, select Denver recreation centers will be serving dinner to children 18 years old and younger, weekdays from Monday, March 16th through Friday, April 3rd.
Dinner will be served from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the following Rec Centers in Central Denver:
