How to Return Your Child’s DPS Remote Learning Equipment

Swansea families,

Did a student in your family borrow a DPS Chromebook, iPad, hotspot or other DPS technology device to use during remote learning? If so, please read on for important updates on what to do with your device this summer.

If your device is working well and you will be returning in the fall, please keep your device.

If your device is broken or you won’t need it in the fall, please return it to DPS via FedEx free of charge thanks to a partnership with Denver Public Schools Foundation. (Return instructions are below.) Once we receive your returned device, we will contact you about a replacement device.

If you are a charter school student, please work with your school on the next steps for your devices.

Returning devices will minize replacement costs and support other students who need access to technology. To return devices, please:

• Fill out this Google Form 
• Wait to receive a box in the mail with instructions and a prepaid shipping label.
• Follow the enclosed instructions.
• Bring the box to any FedEx location. Your device will then get returned to DPS at no charge to you.

Familias de Swansea,

¿Un estudiante de su familia tomó prestado un Chromebook DPS, iPad, punto de acceso u otro dispositivo de tecnología de DPS para usar durante el aprendizaje remoto? Si es así, siga leyendo para obtener actualizaciones importantes sobre qué hacer con su dispositivo este verano.

Si su dispositivo funciona bien y volverá en otoño, mantenga su dispositivo antes el otono.

Si su dispositivo está roto o no lo necesitará en el otoño, devuélvalo a DPS a través de FedEx sin cargo gracias a una asociación con The Denver Foundation. (Las instrucciones de devolución están a continuación). Una vez que recibamos su dispositivo devuelto, nos pondremos en contacto con usted para solicitarle un dispositivo de reemplazo.

Si su estudiante esta en una escuela autónoma o charter, trabaje con su escuela en los siguientes pasos para sus dispositivos.

Los dispositivos que regresen minimizarán los costos de reemplazo y apoyarán a otros estudiantes que necesitan acceso a la tecnología. Para devolver dispositivos, por favor:

• Llenar el siguiente formulario de Google
• Recibirá una caja en el correo con instrucciones y una etiqueta de envío prepagado.
• Sigue las instrucciones adjuntas.
• Traiga la caja a cualquier ubicación de FedEx. Su dispositivo entonces será devuelto a DPS sin ningun cobro a ustedes.
