Your Voice / Tu Voz Survey

Outside Recess and Dropping Temperatures

If inclement weather or an emergency occurs which would result in the closing of the school in the Denver area or it becomes necessary to adjust the schedule of the start or dismissal time of school, information will be announced by local radio and TV stations. The radio and TV stations receive notification from district officials by 5:00 am. Please dress your children appropriately while still maintaining our dress code. Students will remain outside unless the temperature falls below 32 degrees, or if it snows or rains.

Denver Safe Routes to School Partnership

The Safe Routes to School initiative wants to hear from Swansea families and staff! We are partnering together to develop a Travel Plan for improving transportation to and from school. Tell us about your experiences accessing Swansea Elementary by walking, bicycling, rolling, school bus, and driving. Scan the QR code to take the Swansea Elementary Transportation Survey. Parents are also invited to attend an in-person meeting on November 1 at 8:30 a.m. at the school. (Please remember, there is NO school for students this day.)
