We will also be hosting an after school celebration at 5 p.m. where students can make crafts, listen to stories and interact with reptiles! See you there!

Swansea Staff Shoutouts

Ms. Mirella Lozano and Ms. Karla
“For me, they are teachers who work hard to give the children the best in every sense of the word, and they support each other, which makes the classroom flow and a place where children want to go. Thank you very much for your support.” -Carolina Marquina Lucas

Vendor Contracts Available For Carnival

Vendor Contracts are now available for Swansea Guardians. Please come pick up a copy of the contract in the Main Office, and return the form with the necessary fields completed. There is no cost to being a vendor at the carnival, and vendors get to keep 100% of the proceeds. We have approximately 20 vendor spots available, but they go fast. Vendor spots are first-come-first-serve, so please return your completed contract ASAP to secure your spot at the carnival. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, May 17 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Volunteer Appreciation Event

To all the guardians that have volunteered throughout the year, thank you for all your help! We will be hosting a Volunteer Appreciation event on May 15 from 2-3 p.m. If you have supported us as a volunteer this year, please expect to receive an invitation to this event soon! (Please note, this event is by invitation only to honor the contributions of our volunteers.)

Teacher to be Featured on Local News

One of our Swansea teachers will be featured on the local news for a Teacher Appreciation Week segment! Members from Telemundo, DPS Communications and Denver7 will visit our school in the next few weeks to record the teacher in action in the classroom. We will ensure that all students present when camera crews are on campus have authorized media releases. We wanted to provide our families with the update in case they are at the school when the media crews are present. We are so proud of the contributions of all our staff members and are thrilled to highlight one of our teachers on such a large platform!
