• September 6 at 8:30-9:30 a.m.: First Friday Principal Chats with Principal Diaz.
• September 9: No school for students due to assessments.Teachers will be reaching out to parents directly should their student need to complete an assessment on this day.
• September 16: YMCA aftercare is NOT available.Please plan to make alternative arrangements on this day if your student attends YMCA aftercare.
• September 16-September 20: Parent Teacher Home Visit Week
• September 26 at 5-7 p.m.: Fiesta Hispanica

Lunch Applications

Please visit the main office before or after school to complete your student’s lunch application.

Reminder: Review the Family Handbook

Families, please review the Parent Handbook. The last page of the handbook contains the 2024-25 Parent School Compact. All students and parents must sign and return this document to the school. Printed copies of the Parent School Compact were sent home with students on Thursday, August 29.

Birthday Celebrations

We believe that celebrations are important, however, they cannot take away from the mission of a school – to educate your child. In order to minimize the interruption to instruction, all students will receive a birthday crown and a pin to wear on their birthday. No cake, cupcakes, or balloons will be permitted in classrooms. We will, of course, celebrate academics, good behavior and attendance – accomplishments that lead to success. We will continue with school-wide assemblies twice a year to recognize the academic achievement of our students.
